About Yale Africa Startup Review

Yale Africa Startup Review is a student and alumni-led publication featuring founders and startups shaping the future of Africa with entrepreneurship. It aims to share stories of ingenuity and innovation to attract interested stakeholders to the African entrepreneurship or startup ecosystem. YASR sources and selects companies that show the scale and variety of innovation known as YASR 30, which will feature 30 exciting startups shaping the future of innovation and entrepreneurship across Africa. These companies are founded and led by talented, dynamic, and diverse groups of founders. The New Haven, Connecticut-based publication was established by Sharon Mwale, Samuel Kitara, Lina Kacyem, Kwame Amoako, Caroline van der Merwe, and Lukas Bosch.
