About Criatec Fund
Criatec Fund is a venture capital firm that provides seed investment funds to Brazilian companies. In addition to the investment, the firm actively participates in the administration of the companies by providing strategic and management support, helping in the selection and structure of the team, setting goals, and following up with results. It is focused on sectors such as agrobusiness, energy, finance, human health, media and entertainment, IT and electronics, and multisector. Criatec Fund works with companies in Belém, Belo Horizonte, Florianópolis, Fortaleza, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. Criatec Fund was born out of a public bid tendered by BNDES in 2007 and won by Antera Gestão de Recursos S.A., in consortium with Instituto Inovação S.A. Currently it is co-managed by Antera and Inseed Investimentos Ltda, the investment arm of the Instituto Inovação group.
