About Walvis Participaties
Walvis is a Dutch venture capitalist that invested in seed and early stage Dutch Internet technology startups with global ambitions. After the first fund, which still has 6 participations, Walvis launched a second fund in 2014 to capitalize on a rich deal flow in the early stage phase. Walvis Fund III is now focusing on financing Dutch Internet technology companies in their (early) growth phase and with one of the following 5 sectors: (i) Commerce, (ii) Enterprise, (iii) FinTech, (iv) Health and (v) Internet of Things. Walvis mainly invests in companies with a B2B business model. Walvis is interested to invest in a company where annual revenue is above EUR 1 million or your MRR is above EUR 80k. Walvis Fund III invests EUR 1,5-5 million in (early) growth Internet technology companies. By now, Walvis has 15 investments and more than EUR 60 million total assets under management.
