About MyCreative Ventures
MyCreative Ventures is a Malaysian government investment arm that aims to spur the creative industry by funding in the form of equity or debt investments. It invests via equities or loans from allocated funds in potential viable Malaysian creative businesses. It aims to boost the attractiveness of Malaysia’s creative industry measurable by job creation; increase gross income from Malaysia’s creative industry to significantly contribute to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP); and elevate the status of Malaysia’s creative industry via public awareness and social impact. Companies involved in visual arts, performing arts, music, literature, content creation, fashion and design, and traditional and cultural arts are eligible to receive funds from MyCreative Ventures. MyCreative Ventures was founded in April 2012 and is based in Damansara Perdana, Malaysia.
