About StartOut
StartOut is a non-profit organization that promotes LGBTQ equality and combats discrimination in America’s LGBTQ entrepreneurial community. It offers more than 70 events to a nationwide network of approximately 15,000 members with various programs, including networking, education, research, and access to capital. StartOut permits a new community of professionals with economic resources and personal support to help the entire LGBTQ community as well as local groups. Headquartered in New York, N.Y., the organization was established in 2009 by Lorenzo Thione, Darren Spedale, and Joe DiPasquale.
