About Inno-Negev
Inno-Negev, technology accelerator, provides start-ups and hi-tech entrepreneurs with unique support and essential tools needed to increase viability and develop abilities to advance their ventures. The accelerator is a joint venture of the Bengis Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, of the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business & Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and B.G. Negev Technologies & Applications Ltd. (Ben-Gurion University’s technology transfer office). Inno-Negev opens its doors to students and hi-tech entrepreneurs, with a different focus of activity for each cycle (Cyber, Homeland Security, ICT, Medical Devices, and more). The ventures targeted are in the pre-seed and seed stages, with a promising team and a formulated idea, seeking assistance, direction, connections and business support. The accelerator offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive exclusive services, including practical lectures and workshops by leading individuals; experienced mentors; expert advisors in IP, law and finance; experience in presenting to investors; branding packages; and more. Inno-Negev serves as a critical connecting point for entrepreneurs, investors and global organizations, in one of Israel’s most rapidly developing hi-tech areas – the Negev. The Negev region hosts academic institutes, leading hi-tech companies, technological incubators, a hi-tech park and soon the IDF’s elite technological units. This creates a promising and lively entrepreneurial community, which the accelerator will assist and lead. Inno-Negev’s greatest strength is the partnerships recruited for each cycle, which vary in accordance with the cycle’s focus of activity. Partners provide active assistance to participants, including contact with experienced investors, global companies, support figures and more.
