SANPEI VENTURES is an investment holding based in Shanghai focused on Western growth-stage tech start-ups looking to build a presence in Chinese market. We work with start-ups developing data-driven, B2B technologies aiming to disrupt how traditional industries operate, with a primary focus on retail and consumer-facing sectors. Despite China obvious attractiveness as a market due to its size and scalability potential, Western start-ups often rule it out of their international expansion plans, as it is perceived as an extremely complicated market to access. SANPEI VENTURES aim to solve this problem, putting at work not only our extensive experience in China and Europe but also full operational capabilities to help Western start-ups set foot and accelerate their growth in Chinese market. We identify western start-ups with unique technologies and large scalability potential in China and partner with them through local Joint Ventures. SANPEI VENTURES funds and operates the Joint-Ventures to accelerate their growth in the region, allowing start-ups to develop in China without any funding requirements. We are focused on data-driven start-ups developing unique technologies with strong artificial intelligence component and highly scalable. Our current focus is in retail and consumer facing sectors in China.
