Social-tech developed from the understanding that technology can be a powerful tool in tackling social issues that society is facing. They are witnessing a worldwide trend of investing more and more time, efforts and resources in finding technological solutions for social problems. Numerous funds and organizations all over the globe are seeking those innovative ideas and extraordinary teams that will address global social pain-points. In Israel there are dozens of early stage social-tech ventures – their goal is to trigger more entrepreneurs to divert their skills to the social arena, and to assist those already active to fulfill their social and technological vision.
