JIC STARCUBE is an international accelerator based in Brno, Czech Republic. Supported by technology partners AVG, Konica Minolta, Microsoft, Honeywell and Y Soft. For 2016, they chose these technologies and areas of application: • Augmented reality/Virtual reality • Big Data Analytics • Sensors • ICT Security • Smart City/Home/Office • Industry 4.0 • Paperless Office • Retail 2.0 • Secure Family/Home They are looking for innovative teams and startups from around the world with clearly defined and market-validated ideas. They offer 3 months of business workshops together with experienced mentors. Participants may use 24/7 coworking space, prototyping facilities and services from their partners like Y Soft, Flextronics, Microsoft or IBM. JIC STARCUBE takes place in Brno (Czech Republic) and offers financial help with covering expenses up to € 4,100 per team. The JIC is an association of legal entities: South Moravian Region, City of Brno, Brno University of Technology (VUT), Masaryk University, Mendel University, and University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
