About Columbia Ventures Corporation

Columbia Ventures is a private investment firm specializing in the international telecommunications industry. It was established as a subsidiary to hold non-smelting investments, including the largest aluminum extrusion business west of the Mississippi River. CVC became an independent company owned entirely by the Peterson family in 1996. CVC began the construction of a cutting-edge aluminum smelter in Iceland in 1997.
