New Industry Ventures was established by Gazprom Neft, Gazprombank, Russian Venture Company (RVC) and VEB Innovations. The Fund focuses on investments in technology companies specializing in the development of new materials, technologies, products and services for the oil and gas industry, petrochemical and energy industry, including alternative energy sources. New Industry was set up to spur the promotion of high-tech products in the Russian market and support innovative companies and start-ups that are important for the development of the oil and gas industry, the fuel and energy sector and the Russian industry. The priorities of the Fund are the development of technologies for the exploration, production, processing, transportation, distribution, use of hydrocarbons, energy transmission and storage, implementation of innovative solutions in the construction of industrial infrastructure, management of large-scale projects, etc. The investments also focus on resource and energy saving technologies, digital products, including 4.0. industry technology.
